Our group is seeking to provide a place on campus where students and faculty can properly recycle plastic bags. Our mission is to raise awareness of the harmful environmental effects of single- use plastic bags. We plan to then use the bags that are recycled and create durable reusable tote bags. Working with the PSU bookstore we hope to sell the bags within the store. Giving students another option other than plastic throw away bags.
